Step 1 Place flour, sugar, salt, yeast and oil in bowl; mix well. Add warm water and mix to a soft dough. Turn on to a floured board or bench and knead for 5-10 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic (it should spring back when dented with a finger). Add more flour when kneading if necessary. Place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and leave to rise in a warm place until double in size.
Step 2 Punch down, return dough to floured board and knead again for about 5 minutes.
Step 3 Roll dough into a large circle or rectangle; transfer to an oiled pizza tin or baking tray. Use as instructed in pizza recipe.
