Full ingredients list:
- 6 small red onions, peeled, each cut in 8 wedges
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 3 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme

Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Preheat oven to 200°C. Place onions on a tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with sugar and drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Roast for 45 minutes, until vinegar has evaporated. Serve topped with thyme.
Place onions in the oven while roasting other veges or a roast.
